| Born in 1967, Lisa Russell is a local girl from Valencia, California. During her last year of high school she attended beauty college and graduated top of her class. After working a few years in local salons, she went into business for herself. Partnering with sister Lory, in 1997 the girls opened “Rapunzels Salon & Spa on Lyons Avenue. As one of the more successful salons in the Santa Clarita Valley in just few years they needed to expand. By Moving the salon to a new location on Bouquet Canyon in 2001, they continued to grow. In 2005, Lisa and her sister wanted to focus more on building their families and less on business, so they decided to close the salon.
Now working as an independent hair stylist, Lisa can be found at Spa Villa Salon and Day Spa in Santa Clarita. With a short move to Park City Utah in 2006, Lisa would fly back to Santa Clarita twice a month to take care of her long time clients. As of September 2008, Lisa is living back in Santa Clarita and working full time at Spa Villa Salon.
As a professional hair stylist, Lisa continues her education by attending a number of cutting and color classes every year. Lisa says "I pride myself in staying current, giving my clients the highest quality with the latest styles". Continuing to grow and improve her abilities is what makes Lisa Russell a true professional. You will know you're in good hands from the moment you sit in her chair!
